Rathkeevin Macra in South Tipperary are delighted to announce the Queen of the Castle Festival will be returning for a second year to Cahir Co. Tipperary from Friday, 1st to Monday, 4th of August 2025.
We are inviting each Macra region to enter one representative to take part in the festival in a bid to be crowned Queen of the Castle. Entries are also welcome for international contestants from other international farming organisations such as Young Farmers.
The representative should be friendly, empathetic, enthusiastic, up for a challenge and should encompass the qualities of a leader.
Contestants can look forward to a jam packed four-day weekend of events, entertainment and festivities which will take place throughout Cahir town. They will be wined and dined over the weekend and will have the opportunity to make lifelong friendships and connections as well as having the opportunity to win the prestigious title of Queen of the Castle 2025 and other valuable prizes.
