Who will be our next Queen?
Welcome to the Queen of the Castle Festival – where history, music, and celebration come together in the heart of Cahir, Co. Tipperary!
Founded in 2024 by Rathkeevin Macra, with Cahir Castle as our backdrop, we celebrate women, community, and culture in a way that’s vibrant, uplifting, and unforgettable.
From live music and arts to inspiring talks, family fun, and plenty of good food, Queen of the Castle is more than just a festival – it’s a chance to come together, make memories, and honour the incredible power and creativity of women.
The festival will take place from Friday, 31st July 2026 to Monday, 3rd August 2026. Whether you’re a local or travelling from abroad, we can’t wait to welcome you to Cahir and celebrate with you!
